The Wilson Center's Canada and Mexico Institutes and the Global Europe Program invite you to a discussion about the European perspective on the North American Free Trade Agreement renegotiation.
European industrialized powers, key allies and trading partners of the United States, Canada and Mexico have significant investment and trade stakes in North America's integrated market. In many cases, their continental operations are anchored in the NAFTA framework. What would significant changes to NAFTA mean for European businesses? Will the uncertainty encourage Europeans to take their capital elsewhere? And with any eye towards the UK/EU Brexit negotiations, how might the NAFTA renegotiation further impact transatlantic trade?
Please join our expert panel as they take up these critical questions.
Moderator: Ambassador Tony Wayne, Wilson Center Global Fellow and former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico
